Measuring
Instructions
You will need a soft measuring tape. You can
get one at any fabric store, grocery store, and even Walgreens! They
are usually around $2. You will also need a piece of string or yarn
to tie around your natural waistline. A number of measurements are taking
by using the waist as a guide (you will see more about that below).
It also helps to have a friend to measure you. It speeds up the whole
process when you have someone handy that can help double-check that
the measurements are being taken correctly.
Measurements should be taken with underwear and
bra on to allow for room underneath the costume. Also, give us the measurement
of your inseam and side seam with and without shoes if you're planning
on wearing tall-heeled shoes and have pants or a skirt that need to
be fitted accordingly.
Please take all measurements according to the
instructions below. Many thanks for Pricilla for being our model for
this section. Please stand straight and symetrical when taking your
measurements, unlike Pricilla who is stuck in one position.
