limebarb.com is a small custom costume and fashion company. We are located in Chicago, Illinois. We specialize in making custom costumes and clothing, as well as our own brand of unique, limited-edition clothing. Our clothing appeals to everyone's want to dress up and show a more expressive side of themselves. :)

We are a group of dedicated artists and craftspeople who are comissioned by a diverse clientele. Most of the work we do is on custom costumes for anime, video game, and comic book fans attending the hundreds of conventions held worldwide each year. We also work with individual clients to create custom clothing based on their own original designs! We enjoy bringing people's daydreams for their very own unique outfit to life!

We also make costumes for plays - both by creating from supplied designs, and from doing the design work ourselves. We are eager to expand into more theater work and can work with large companies as well as small ones on a budget. We also hope to work with bands, designing clothes for those that want their own unique style!

Commissions
We offer custom commissions of costumes and clothing. Basically, we can make anything you can give us a picture of! We are known for making custom anime and video game costumes, but we can also make costumes based off movies and comics, as well as your original ideas or designs! Browse our commission site to get a quote on your dream outfit, and look at our gallery of past works.

Clothing Store
Here we offer our original line of clothing that you can't get anywhere else! Currently we just have our basic line of school uniforms up, but you can expect a whole bunch of new awesome things sometime this summer!

Tara AllStarAlice
AllStarAlice has made numerous costumes on her own, unaffiliated with limebarb.com. She won Best Craftsmanship at Ohayocon 2006 for her Lady outfit. She now joins us twice a week for odds and ends of help in the form of much embroidery and light sewing.
Rebecca Voltz
Voltz usually takes part in the creation of any large prop that comes from limebarb.com. He excels at wood cutting and fiberglassing. He is also a great embroiderer.

The Staff - honorary members!
Honorary members are people who have worked or assisted at the company at one time, and are now working elsewhere due to location/school/ and other obligations. But, we still love them and consider them a part of the team!
Jaquii
Jaquii is helpful, always cheerful and brings good things to eat. And coffee, which we always desperately need! She is good with embroidery, a hard worker, and always entertaining.

The part time staff works on a trade-for-costume basis. Its kind of like an internship, except you get a costume at the end.

If you are interested in being part-time staff of limebarb.com, please fill out an application. Hiring is at our descretion, naturally. We are looking for people in the Chicago area who can give us atleast one full (8 hour) day of work a week. We want serious people who are eager to learn, able to take directions, and who are capable and dedicated to living up to our high construction standards.

Applications will be available at a later date.
