Things have been going good. In the next couple weeks we will be doing yet another massive update, adding over 100 new costumes to the galleries! wooo~! A great way to bring in the new year! I hope you look forward to it. We will be away from Friday through Sunday this weekend on business. Everything goes back to normal on Monday. :) |

Stolen

An ebay member by the name of Sonic Player has stolen numerous images of costumes made by the limebarb.com staff from our website and is currently using them to sell their own knock-offs. There are at least 41 stolen costumes, with multiple listings for many. This person has stolen both reference photos and photos of costumes that we here at limebarb.com have made. It's very upsetting to have this person think they can get away with stealing pictures of our hard work. ;-; Many thanks to all the friends and customers that have pointed this out to us! I'm letting the public know for two reasons: 1. If you see limebarb.com costumes for sell on ebay that are not being sold via our ebay member name of limebarb then it is not really a limebarb costume! We do not want people to buy from thieves, nor do we want them to buy something that looks like a quality costume from us, but is instead is lesser quality than what we make. 2. If they have stolen from me then they have probably stolen from other people. If you're a cosplayer or another commissioner who see your costume photos stolen on ebay please contact ebay to report it! |

While cleaning out the closets of limebarb.com I came across a bunch of old prototypes of EGL clothing. Im now tossing them all up on the page for sale! There are even some items as cheap as a dollar! Better hurry up! Also added to the Pre-Made section are some more costumes for sale, some stuff from Eva and Ouran Host Club to be added shortly. Also there is an original design - the Purple Angel, the outfit is a fantasy outfit and has 2 foot silver and purple wings! Its just gorgeous! REMEMBER that everything in the Pre-Made section ships NEXT BUSINESS DAY so its a great option if your looking for a last minute outfit for a con!! ^_~ -barb |

Finally, the update I have been talking about FOREVER is up! XD Well, in part anyways - there are still plenty of costumes, customer pics, and new site additions to be added, but here is something BIG to tide everyone over! Hurry up and go look at them! |

This update wouldn't be possible without the help of limebarb.com's brand new secretary Rebecca! We happily welcome her to the group because she offers us the wonderful gift of effeciency! And now e-mail responses to customers are going much quicker. Also, two other people joined our collective during the past couple of months. PamelaNeko, who's doing some seasonal secretarial work for us (and totally rocking at it.) And now RedPikachu lends her cosplay powers to our team twice a week for sewing and other crafting tasks. I'll be posting bios for them in the About Us section in the coming month.

The limebarb.com Fantasy Fashion Show happened on March 31st, 2006 at Hot Import Nights - a nationwide car show! This was our first runway event! In mid-March Jia Crens and myself modeled for Yaya Han's Fantasy Fashion show, and she was kind enough to pass our names along to do the Chicago event. The show was a whole lot of fun, and I was happy to do our own show here at home! We had 11 models total, and 22 costumes- with myself suppling most of the costumes. Jia Crens, All Star Alice, and Red Pikachu supplied and showcased their own outfits in the show. I kidnapped my other hot friends to model for us as well, PamelaNeko and FeFeMartini - both were awesome and supplied the crowd with lots of energy and sexy posing! I also hired 5 other models to do the runway show with us, one of which is Alexandra, who totally rocked the show! I had a little over a week to put the show together, with what little free time I had between costume orders. :) Since this show was so last-minute I brought mostly anime and game costumes. I'm happy to say that for future shows I will be displaying all original designs, many of which will be exclusive HIN outfits! -barb |

I've finally made a customer gallery for all the wonderful customers that have supported us through the years! :) The gallery is made up almost entirely of pictures our happy customers have been kind enough to send us of themselves in their limebarb.com costumes or costume accessories! The gallery also contains various wonderful comments that I have received throughout the past two years through email from happy customers. You could consider them testimonials, but I mainly post them because they make me happy and I wish to share them with everyone! Being able to make customers happy, and make thier cosplay dreams come true is what makes my job so awesome! XD I have quite a handful more of customer pics to post that will make it up on the page as soon as I create galleries for numerous costumes that need to be added - so expect more to be added all the time! |

CELEBRATES THE BUSY SEASON!! |

We are pleased to celebrate our survival at the mid-way point of our busy season. The late spring into the summer signifies a time where we ramp up our energy and work many long days and make many many costumes! At this point in time we have made good head way with AX orders, with the remaining going out in the next week and a half - and then on to later summer orders. Every day is a new and exciting project for us!
IT SHOULD ALSO BE NOTED THAT WE HAVE TAKEN AND SHIPPED MORE THAN TWICE AS MANY ORDERS FOR THIS MONTH THAN WE HAVE TAKEN ANY OTHER YEAR. At this time last year we had approx. 15 orders. I can't wait to start adding these to the gallery officially! I'm super excited that I have numerous customer pictures to include that customers have sent to me already. :) |

This was officially posted May 23rd - though it was supposed to go up with the launch of the new page on April 20th. :) The new page is all in order, so welcome to a better, prettier, and easier to navigate limebarb.com with a brand new gallery, new about us section and tons of new features! We hope that you enjoy the new page! Limebarb.com has had a lot of ups and downs in the past, and with a lot of hard work we have made it grow and become more successful than ever!
